	Optical Fashions has a complete lens finishing lab on the premises. By using computer driven state of the art lens fabricating systems, Optical Fashions can create beautiful and precise eyewear for all our patients. The heart of our lab is based on the Briot Alta patternless lens edger and frame tracing system. The edger is driven by the latest in computer software, allowing for precision never before possible. The "frame tracer" measures the frame size and shape at thousands of individual points... allowing for great precision and accuracy in the size and shape of the prescription lenses being fabricated. Almost all lens types and frame designs can be processed with this lab system. Our Briot Alta edging system is perfectly suited for the production of todays premium lenses and frames. We have the ability to use computer driven drills to handle complicated drill-on (rimless) mountings. Patients can combine their unique eyewear with a high luster lens edge polish, creating a beautiful finish with better cosmetics. In addition to lens fabricating abilities, our lab can also tint lenses. Expert stylists can work with lens dyes to create "optically correct" sunlens colors and fashion shades. Almost all lenses can be treated to block UV light (to 400 nanometers)... on the premises! While all the latest lab equipment ensures that Optical Fashions can beautifully create the most accurate, fashionable, and comfortable eyewear possible, it is our expert staff of highly trained licensed opticians that make it all happen. At Optical Fashions we also offer free frame adjustments, and are adept at repairing frames that many other optical establishments will not even attempt. While some frames are indeed impossible to repair, don't give up on that frame you sat on until you show it to one of the experts at Optical Fashions.
